NativeDeferredToolsModel

class zett_agent.model.NativeDeferredToolsModel(*args, **kwargs)

An AgentModel that says whether its endpoint can load a deferred tool by reference.

The attribute is optional: an adapter that does not declare it is treated as False, so retry and stream are all a minimal adapter needs. Declare it only to answer True.

True means the protocol keeps a deferred definition out of the model’s context but still accepts a search result that names it (Anthropic defer_loading plus tool_reference). The adapter then receives every deferred definition in ModelRequest.tools and marks it deferred itself. False means the model learns a deferred definition only from a search result (the Responses tool_search_output), or not at all, so ToolSearchExtension withholds those definitions from the request.
